OUTING CLUB EVENTS  10/11-10/18



ANNOUNCEMENTS

-The *equipment room* will be open every day this week except for Tuesday.
The hours are 12:30-1:30PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, as well as
12-2PM and 4:30-5:30PM on Friday.



MONDAY

*- Open climbing* at the Nate Lowe wall!  Reading period hours are 3-5 PM in
the Field House.

*- Day Hike! *Meet at 10AM on Paresky steps. Be sure to bring layers and a
water bottle. Email sm8 for more information.

- *Bike ride* to Bennington Chocolate Shoppe! Meet at 12:30 on Chapin Steps
to go on a 30-mile bike ride into Vermont, past farms and ponds, all the way
to the Bennington Village Chocolate Shoppe! We will take it slow and get
back to campus before 5pm.  Email Lisa at lmm1 if you are interested. Don't
forget to bring your helmet and plenty of water!

- *Paddling movie*; come to Bronfman at 9:30PM to watch “Dream Result” on
the big screen! Check out the preview:

TUESDAY

*- ** **Rocktoberfest! Climbing Day Trip* to Rose Ledge. Must be belay
certified at the wall or currently in a Climbing PE class.  Email da1 if you
are interested.

*- Polar Bear Swim*; join us for a refreshing dip in the Green River.  Meet
on

Paresky steps at 9 PM, and don’t forget to bring warm clothes, a flashlight,
and a towel. Email Abby at atm1 with questions.

*- Open climbing* at the Nate Lowe wall!  Reading period hours are 3-5 PM in
the Field House.



WEDNESDAY

- *Weekly WOC dinner: *Come to Paresky at 6PM to eat dinner and hang out
with other outdoor enthusiasts. Bring your food (and good stories!) up to
the fireplace on the second floor.

-* Weekly WOC meeting*; 7PM in Schapiro Hall 141, all members are
welcome!  Contact

THURSDAY

FRIDAY

- *Sunrise Hike* up Pine Cobble!  Meet at Chapin Steps at 6AM, we will
return to campus by 8:45AM.

*- Outdoor Outreach Hike* 3:15-5:30 PM.  Get outside and have fun with kids
from the Williamstown Youth Center!  Contact Chandler at ces1 for more
information.



SATURDAY

*- Day hike *up Berlin Mountain! Meet at 10:00AM in front of Paresky. Email
ggm1 for more information.



SUNDAY **

*- Open climbing* at the Nate Lowe wall!  Hours are 3-5 PM in the Field
House.
