Message from Drew Jones, Hopkins Memorial Forest Manager:

Please note that Hopkins Memorial Forest will be closed to the public  
during
the Massachusetts deer hunting season: November 29th until December  
11th,
except for Sunday, December 5th.  Everyone is welcome to continue  
using the
forest for hiking, jogging and cross-country skiing following the 12 day
hunting period.

Please keep in mind that if you are walking or jogging on any back  
roads or
trails this time of year, it is advisable to wear brightly colored  
clothes
as there could be hunters nearby.
