Hey WOC!

    Here are the our events for the week of 9/21/09 - 9/27/09.  Enjoy!



MONDAY

- Morning Run; meet outside of Paresky at 7:15AM.  Email Ali at 10ahd for
details.

- Mt Day T-shirt designs due!  Drawings must be placed in the envelope
outside the WOC office.  The winner will receive a sweet prize and have his
or her design emblazoned on the shirt.

- Open climbing at the Nate Lowe wall!  Hours are 8-10 PM in the Field
House.





TUESDAY

- Polar Bear Swim, come for a refreshing dip in the Green River!  Meet on
Paresky steps at 10PM and don’t forget to bring warm clothes and a towel.

House.



WEDNESDAY

- Weekly WOC meeting; 7PM in Schapiro Hall 141, all members are
welcome!  Contact
Ali at 10ahd to know more.

- Stone Hill campout; meet in Paresky Lobby at 11PM- snacks and music are
included!  Email Joe at 10jms if you have any questions.



THURSDAY

- WOC Siesta; come join us for naptime on Paresky Lawn between 1-2PM.

- Open climbing at the Nate Lowe wall in the Field House 8-10 PM.



FRIDAY

- Sunrise Hike up Pine Cobble!  Meet at Chapin Steps at 6AM, we will return
to campus by 8:45AM.

- Outdoor Outreach Hike on Pine Cobble: 3-6PM.  Get outside and have fun
with kids from the Williamstown Youth Center!  Contact Sarah at set1 if you
would like to volunteer.



SATURDAY

-White Water Kayaking on the West River in Vermont.  Must be an experienced
white water kayak paddler and comfortable on class III rapids.  Leaving
Campus at 7:30am returning by 4pm.  Questions??  Email Sara at Sjd1.

- "Beyond Your Backyard" bird walk, 7:30-9:30 AM. Join Berkshire County's
Hoffmann Bird Club on a free field trip for beginner birders. Meet at Sheep
Hill, a short walk south of campus on Rt. 7.



SUNDAY

Open climbing at the Nate Lowe wall!  Hours are 8-10 PM in the Field House.





ANNOUNCEMENTS



The equipment room is now open for full hours!  Come visit us in Paresky
basement (one level down the stairs by the mailroom) and check out some gear
or become a member!  Open 12:30-1:30PM Monday-Thursday and 12-2PM Friday.

Questionable weather?  Event cancellations will be posted on the WOC office
door so be sure to check there if things are looking dubious.
