Announcements
Wilderness First Aid course - WOC will be offering a 2 day WFA (Wilderness
First Aid) course Sunday, April 23 and Sunday April 30 from 9AM - 3:30PM.
Cost is $70 for the class - please contact [log in to unmask] directly to
reserve a spot and if you have any questions, by NOON Friday, April 14.
Bouldering Barn opening! The climbing wall in the Field House is out of
commission for the time being but WOC is opening a new climbing facility
this week! The Bouldering Barn is located on Walden St and Hoxsey. The
hours will be M & W 7 - 9 pm, T & Th 4 - 7 pm (4 - 5:30 is non-cis male
hours only) and Sa & Su 2 - 5 pm. There will only be room for 10 climbers
and 1 IM in the space at one time. Before walking to the Bouldering Barn

Open WOC Board Meeting!
Come see some of the logistical workings of WOC! If you are interested in
what the Board does or just want to meet some more people who love the
outdoors please join us at 7:15pm in the Zilhka Center!
Wednesday:
Gorgeous, Gobbling GORP making!
Meet in Baxter (the middle of Paresky) at 3:15pm to make ~super fancy~ Good
Ole Raisins and Peanuts, aka trail mix. There will be fun gorp toppings
(many kinds of m&ms!), so do not miss it!

Friday:
Weekly sunrise hike– a “wake up” and down trek on Pine Cobble.** Meet on
Paresky steps at 5:55 AM for a dawn good sunrise hike - (sunrise at 6:13
AM). This is a 3 mile round trip hike with one thousand foot elevation gain
to get your blood flowing and endorphins coursing through your veins!!
Dress for the weather and wear good footwear for a trail that will be muddy
and rocky! Bring a filled water bottle and a cup for hot drinks. Return to
campus by 8:45AM. Please sign up on this for

Cowboy Coffee Makin’! Tired of having to drive to Pittsfield for Starbucks?
Come make Starbuks coffee ~the outdoor way~ this Friday at 8:30 AM by

Saturday:
Top Rope Climbing Trip to Little Falls
Join us for an all-day climbing trip to Little Falls, NY! We’ll depart at 9
am from the WOC Equipment Room in Paresky and return by 6 pm at the latest.
We’ll drive to Little Falls, have an approach walk, and then spend a couple
hours climbing! The trip is suitable for all ability levels but top rope
belay certification at the climbing wall is required prior to coming on the
trip. Wear comfortable and stretchy clothes and bring lunch food and a
water bottle for the day. Climbing gear will be provided as needed on the
