OUTING CLUB EVENTS 4/4 - 4/8
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
*WOC executive board applications for 2016-2017 available outside the WOC office due April 6, 2016.
*WOC 4th quarter PE offerings - spots still open in (All WOC classes meet from 1pm - 4pm with the exception of whitewater kayaking, 1pm - 5pm due to travel- questions or to register - contact [log in to unmask])

Intermediate Whitewater kayaking: This is a class for students who have some previous kayaking experience, we will be paddling on water rated from class I to III, learning paddling technique, navigating various whitewater hydraulics and water safety.
*White Mountains Backpacking Trip (April 22-24)
Come hike in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for a springtime getaway! We will be backpacking to one of the Appalachian Mountain Club's backcountry huts and exploring the surrounding area. Leaving Friday evening (after classes) and returning Sunday afternoon with a mandatory gear shakedown during the week of April 18th. Previous backpacking experience required. THURSDAY:
- Slacklining: Come to the trees between Morgan and Rt. 2 Thursday between 2:30 and 3:30 to learn to slackline with Raja, Annabel, and Galen! No experience necessary, all are welcome!
-Open Climbing at the Nate Lowe climbing wall 8-10pm Towne Field House. Open to non-cis men from 8-9, all welcome from 9-10.
-Polar Bear Swim! Come chill with the coolest club on campus. Meet at 9pm on Paresky steps. Bring a towel and some friends! Contact Glen at gg5 with questions.
FRIDAY:
- Sunrise Hike up Pine Cobble: Meet on Chapin Steps at 6:00 AM. Dress for the weather, bring a water bottle and a cup for hot drinks. Return to campus by 8:30AM. Contact Scott, [log in to unmask] if you have questions!
