OUTING CLUB WEEKLY CALENDAR 04/03 - 04/09

Hello WOC family! Come check out some of the awesome outdoors events we
have going on this week. All events are open to WOC members. For more
information on how to join WOC, ask your trip leader or head on down to the
equipment room.

Announcements:

WOC 4th quarter PE offerings - Still have openings in the following classes
listed below - if interested please email [log in to unmask]   All WOC
classes meet from 1pm - 4pm with the exception of whitewater kayaking, 1pm
- 5pm due to travel AND Wed. climbing/bouldering will meet from 9AM - 12PM)

THURSDAY:

   HIKING

WOC Instructor Scholarship Application: In an effort to support Williams
students in acquiring outdoor leadership skills, and to contribute to the
depth of programs provided by the Outing Club, WOC will be offering a
scholarship towards an individual’s instructor certification. Applications
can be picked up outside the WOC office and must be submitted in the
application return envelope located outside the WOC office, 2ndfloor
Paresky, by Friday April 7, 2017.   For more info, please contact Will

Climbing:

The Nate Lowe climbing wall will be open 8-:30 -10:30 pm Monday and 8-10
Tuesday - Thursday.  Thursday nights from 8-9 are reserved for non-cis
men.  All climbers are welcome on Thursdays from 9-10.

WOC Equipment Room:  The equipment room is located on Paresky level M. Open
M-Th 12:30-1:30 and F 12-2.  WOC memberships for sale during open hours,
Student $10, Fac/Staff $15, spouse/partner $25.

Thursday :

Polar Bear Swim!

Come join the coolest club on campus for a dip in the Green River. Bring a
friend and a towel to Paresky steps at 9 PM. Contact Glen at gg5 with
questions.

Friday:

Sunrise Hike up Pine Cobble!  Meet on Paresky steps at 6AM.   Dress for the
weather,  bring a water bottle and a cup for hot drinks.  Return to campus
by 8:30 am.  Contact Scott, [log in to unmask] if you have questions!

Saturday:

Mt. Greylock summit hike!  Want to stretch those legs and get some
altitude?  Come hike the Roaring brook trail to the Hopper to the summit
and down the Stony ledge trail - 8 mile challenging but doable trek.
  Leaving campus at 10AM returning by 3pm.  Contact Jackson at jdb3 to
reserve a spot!
