Hello WOC,

We have lots of awesome events going on throughout Winter Study, but here are two big events this week. 

TONIGHT: renowned explorer Dave Anderson is coming to Williams to show a slide show of his Pirate Valley Expedition. He'll tell the story of his epic journey to Argentina to attempt an unclimbed route in a remote region of Patagonia. Dave is a renowned photographer, writer, and guide whose work has appeared in National Geographic, New York Times, Sports Illustrated, and Climbing Magazine. Dave will be speaking at 7:30 PM today (Tuesday), in Paresky Auditorium.

FRIDAY: the Reel Rock Film Tour will be at Williams! Come to Paresky Auditorium from 8 to 9:30 PM to watch epic rock and ice climbing films. Head down to the Field House for open climbing at the wall from 9 PM to 1 AM, accompanied by pizza and refreshments. This event is jointly sponsored by the Williams After Dark program and the Williams Outing Club; contact 09aka for more information.
