WOC-ly OUTING CLUB CALENDAR 11/15- 11/18 (Happy Thanksgiving break - next

Hello WOC family! Come check out some of the awesome outdoors events we
have going on this week. All events are open to WOC members. For more
information on how to join WOC, ask your trip leader or head on down to the
equipment room.

HUNTING SEASON!!

Deer (rifle & shotgun) season has beGUN in Vermont: 11/11/17 - 11/26/17

*if going into the nearby woods…Be aware and A-wear bright colors

New York begins 11/20 - 12/12

MA begins 11/27 - 12/12  (no hunting allowed in MA on Sundays!)



WOC INFO and T-Shirt sale tabling - 11:30am - 1pm!

The WOC executive board will be tabling ALL this week.  We’ll be answering
your questions about our upcoming Winter Study Ski & Snowboard J-Term
program, and introducing our new financial aid availability for purchasing
passes and gear rental for our PE classes.  *PLUS, don’t miss out on early
gift shopping with purchasing a WOC bamboo t-shirt (makes a great present)
or picking up our last remaining Mt. Day t-shirts at ½ price.*  Profit of
this year’s Mt. Day shirt sale is helping to benefit Hurricane Relief in
Puerto Rico.



Join the Winter Carnival Planning Committee!

Are you on campus this Winter Study? Would you be interested in organizing
Winter Carnival this year? Join the planning committee! If you are bursting
at the seams with excitement and ideas, email meh6 for more information.
All class years are encouraged to join us.

Climbing:

The Nate Lowe climbing wall will be open tonight, Thursday, and Monday of
next week ONLY, from 8-10 pm. Thursday nights from 8-9 are reserved for
those who don’t identify as cis-gender men. All climbers are welcome on
Thursdays from 9-10 and on every other day.

WOC Equipment Room: The Equipment Room will be open Friday from 12:00 - 2pm
and ONLY M & T next week from 12:30 -1:30.  WOC memberships may be
purchased at the Equipment Room as may the ever popular WOC Bamboo T-shirt,

Thursday:

Kayak rolling pool session!  Want to learn how to roll a kayak 360 degrees
(you’ve all got the 180 degree roll down!) come to the college pool at
7:30pm - no experience necessary!  Bring a bathing suit - see you there!

Friday:

Another REAL Sunrise (6:48 am sunrise)  3 mi Hike up and down Pine
Cobble . Meet
on Paresky steps. at 6:00 AM.  Dress for the  chilly weather, bring a
headlamp/flashlight, a water bottle and a cup for hot drinks.  Return to

*WOCsgiving!!!* Drop by Kellogg House between 5:30-7:30 this Saturday to
share in this casual pre-thanksgiving meal! All are welcome. Give thanks
