OUTING CLUB EVENTS 2/23 - 3/1
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
-WOOLF staff/instructor applications:Want to get involved with WOOLF 2015?! Applications for Instructors and Staff positions are outside the WOC office. Come by and pick one up! They will be due back outside the WOC office by Monday, March 2.
If you have any questions or concerns (or an inspirational message, song, video, etc) you can reach the student co-directors Abby at ald2 and John at  jcr2. 

-Equipment Room hours: Equipment room located Paresky level M. Open M - Th 12:30 - 1:30, F 12:00 - 2:00, Sat 2/14 10:00 - noon because snow conditions warrant! Bamboo ($15) or Under Armour ($22) tee shirts can be purchased in the Equipment room during open hours!

MONDAY:
-Open climbing at the Nate Lowe climbing wall  Towne Field House 8-10pm (must be a current WOC member or bring $10 to join)

TUESDAY:
-Kayak rolling 7:30-9:00 in the pool. No experience necessary, bring a towel and swimsuit. contact sma2 with questions.

WEDNESDAY:

THURSDAY:
-Ladies’ Night at the Nate Lowe climbing wall ~ women and other non-male identified people from 8-9. All welcome from 9-10.  Towne Field House 8-10pm (must be a current WOC member or bring $10 to join)

FRIDAY:
-Sunrise Hike up Pine Cobble Meet on Chapin steps at 6:00 AM.  Dress for the weather, good hiking shoes/snow boots, bring a headlamp, filled water bottle and a cup for hot drinks.  Return to campus by 8:45 AM (later time due to possible trail conditions and group outfitting)  Questions? Contact [log in to unmask]

- 70’s Themed Climbing Party! 8:15-10pm Come to the Nate Lowe climbing wall for open climbing, wacky costumes (period apparel strongly encouraged), snacks and this year’s Reel Rock climbing film (about the 70s, obviously!). Watch, climb and be merry. All climbing experience levels are welcome! 

SATURDAY:
-WOC Cabin Overnight Join Zoë and Owen for some winter woods skiing or snowshoeing and a night in the WOC cabin. We will leave Saturday afternoon and will be back on campus Sunday morning. Email oak1 to sign up or with questions.  

-Mt. Greylock Sledding Trip - Join us to snowshoe up and then sled down the road on Mount Greylock! This will be a strenuous hike up, followed by an exciting descent. We will meet at 9am and return by mid-afternoon. Email ljb1 to sign up.

SUNDAY:
- The 7th annual Mathias Jessup Bartels benefit cross-country ski race and tour 11:30AM at Mt. Greylock Regional High School.
The event will feature a 2.5 km kids’/beginner’s race, a lollipop race for young children, and a 6 km classic race. Races are suitable for all ages and abilities.
Prizes will be awarded to overall and age category winners. A $15.00 donation is requested at day of race registration. All proceeds benefit the Mathias Jessup Bartels Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Mt. Greylock Nordic Ski Team. Checks can be made out to: Mt. Greylock Regional High School - M.J. Bartels Scholarship Fund.
