WOC-ly OUTING CLUB CALENDAR 11/11- 11/17

Hello WOC family!  Come check out some of the awesome outdoors events we
have going on this week.   All events are open to WOC members. For more
information on how to join WOC, ask your trip leader or head on down to the
equipment room.

Announcements:



EPIC Sunrise 9 mile Hike up and down Mt. Greylock NEXT FRIDAY, NOV. 15:
Leaving at 3:15AM  return to campus by 8:45AM.  NEED TO RESERVE a spot *Contact

Deer (rifle & shotgun) season has begun in Vermont AND New York:

VT 11/16/19 - 12/01/19

NY 11/16-12/08

*if going into the nearby woods…Be aware and A-wear bright colors



MA begins 12/02 - 12/14 (no hunting allowed in MA on Sundays!)



WOC J-TERM Winter PE Ski, Snowboard, Telemark, Nordic ski, Snowshoe
Instructors wanted:

IF interested please come by the WOC office, 2nd floor Pareksy to pick up
an application outside the office door!  (RETURNING INSTRUCTORS DO NOT NEED

The Nate Lowe climbing wall:  Come get sendy with us!  The wall is open
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8pm - 10pm (Thursdays from
8-9pm reserved for people who don’t identify as cis-gender male.  All
climbers are welcome from 9-10).



WOC Equipment Room:   The Equipment Room will be open M - Th 12:30 - 1:30

WOC activities:



Tuesday:

❄️ Second First Snow Polar Plunge ❄️ On the second first snow of the year
join us for a sub-freezing true polar plunge!! It’s expected to snow
Tuesday, but could change depending on the weather. Bring lots of layers
and anything else you might need! Meet at 8:30PM on Paresky steps. Contact
Aidan ([log in to unmask]) for any questions!



Thursday:

Kayak Rolling Session 7:30 - 9:00 Come by the indoor pool to learn the
basics of kayaking! Learn the basics of kayaking including forward paddle
strokes, turning a kayak with and without a paddle, and rolling a full 360
degrees. Open to people of any or no experience. Contact JT at
