WOC activities:

Thursday:

Kayaking Pool Session:

The water outside is cold, but the pool is always warm. Learn to roll a
kayak 360° (you’ve already got 180° down!) or work on your other skills in
preparation for some roaring whitewater in the Spring! We’ll be there from
7:30-9pm. Contact Alex, ([log in to unmask]) if you have any questions.

Friday:

Weekly Sunrise Hike (sunrise at 6:46 am) - to the summit of Pine Cobble. Meet
on Paresky steps at 6:00 AM. Dress for the *WINTER *weather, trail will be
slick, SNOWY, muddy and wet! Bring a water bottle, headlamp/flashight and a
cup for hot drinks. Return to campus by 8:30AM. Contact Scott,
[log in to unmask] if you have questions!

Ice Ice Baby! Don’t be a (snow)flake and join us on a jog up Blair Road --a
great way to watch the world turn into a winter wonderland (and maybe catch
the beginning of a sunset)! Will be snowing so bring layers. At the end of
the run we will make a quick detour to the gas station and pick up some
(vanilla) ice cream (cash would also be a good idea if you want some sweet
stuff)! Run is about 6 miles total leaving at 3:00pm and running at a
conversational pace, contact alm5 to sign up!

Saturday:

Hike in the Hopkins Forest! Come join us for the last look at the foliage
before leaves are gone and the forest closes for deer hunting! This will
be a leisurely saunter through the woods, leaving campus at 10AM and
returning in the early afternoon. Contact Jonathan, [log in to unmask] with
any questions!

Extreme Nature at the Clark- Walk to the Clark to see the new exhibit,
Extreme Nature, and then take a walk on Stone Hill to explore some
not-so-extreme nature. It will be beautiful late fall afternoon! Leaving
from the Paresky steps at 1 pm and returning by 4 pm. Contact Rosa (rlk2)
with any questions.
