OUTING CLUB WEEKLY CALENDAR 01/26 - 01/29

Hello WOC family! Come check out some of the awesome outdoors events we
have going on this weekend. All events are open to WOC members. For more
information on how to join WOC, ask your trip leader or head on down to the
equipment room.

Announcements:

WOC Winter Study PE Cards due 1/30!

All fully filled out cards for WOC Winter Study must be returned to the
folder on the bulletin board outside the WOC office at 218 Paresky by 2 pm
on 1/30.  *No cards will be accepted after that time*.

Climbing:

The Nate Lowe climbing wall will be closed Thursday 1/26.  We apologize for
any inconvenience.

Thursday:

Kayak rolling pool session! will not be offered this week.

Polar Bear Swim! will not be offered this week.

Friday:

Need some brain nourishment - endorphins galore after a refreshing Sunrise
Hike up Pine Cobble: Meet at the WOC Equipment Room at 6:00 AM.  Dress for
the snow and COLD,  bring a water bottle and a cup for hot drinks.  Return
to campus by 8:45 am.  Contact Dave, [log in to unmask] if you have questions!


*Saturday:*

*Winter Hike to Spruce Hill*  Come enjoy the panorama from this peak in
Savoy Mt. State Forest that we were supposed to  go to last week but didn't
because of the low clouds.  Great views and a return hike through beautiful
forests.  Please come to the WOC Equipment Room on M level in Paresky at 1
pm.  Bring water, warm clothes, and a snack.  Return by 4:30.  Email Dave
at da1 with questions or to reserve a spot.

Equipment Room:  Equipment room is located Paresky level M. Open noon - 2
pm Thursday and Friday. We will not be open on Saturday 1/28.  We will be
open 12:30 -1:30 on Monday and Tuesday 1/29 & 30.  Email
[log in to unmask] for questions. Can purchase annual WOC
memberships during open hours, Student $10, Fac/Staff $15, spouse/partner
$25
