Saturday

GEOCACHING!!!!!!!! And HOT chocolate!!! 10:30AM

Where is it? What is it? How is it? Why is it? Come GEOCACHING on a
BEAUTIFUL Saturday morning. YOU might be asking: What? Is GEOCACHING?
Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a
Global Positioning System receiver or mobile device and other navigational
techniques to hide and seek containers, called geocaches or caches, at
specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world. Together, we
will go to some COOL spots on campus and join in a WORLDWIDE outdoor
scavenger hunt! We will also test out some features so WOC can lead
GEOCACHING trips all over the area and to equip you with the skills to go
GEOCACHING on your own! Bring some sturdy shoes, keen eyes, water bottle,
and a phone (optional). We will meet @ Paresky steps at 10:30 and visit
some beautiful spots near campus. Word on the street is there may be hot
chocolate???? We will be back by 1pm. Sign up HERE

We respectfully acknowledge that Williams College stands on the ancestral
homelands of the Stockbridge-Munsee Mohicans, who are the indigenous
peoples of the region now called Williamstown. Following tremendous
hardship after being forced from their valued homelands, they continued as
a sovereign Tribal Nation in Wisconsin, which is where they reside today.
We pay honor and respect to their ancestors past and present as we commit
to building a more inclusive and equitable space for all.
