Announcements

Bouldering Barn opening!  The climbing wall in the Field House is out of commission for the time being but WOC is opening a new climbing facility this week!  The Bouldering Barn is located on Walden St and Hoxsey.  The hours will be M & W 7 - 9 pm, T & Th 4 - 7 pm (4 - 5:30 is non-cis male hours only) and Sa & Su 2 - 5 pm.  There will only be room for 10 climbers and 1 IM in the space at one time.  Before walking to the Bouldering Barn go here to check the (mostly) current number of users in the building.  All necessary equipment provided.  bring a water bottle.

The WOC Equipment Room will be open M- Th 12:30 - 1:30 & F 12 - 2.

Thursday:

Bouldering Barn Open Hours 4 - 7pm (4pm - 5:30pm non-cis male hours)!  Come visit the new WOC Bouldering Facility located on Walden St. and Hoxsey. There will only be room for 10 climbers and 1 IM in the space at one time.  Before walking to the Bouldering Barn go here to check the (mostly) current number of users in the building.

Saturday:

WOC Din! Come enjoy a delicious dinner with great company at 6:30pm in the Garfield Kitchen! We will be serving curry as well as a delicious dessert. Sign up with this google form (limited to 50 people) and please contact Abby Kinney ([log in to unmask]) with any questions.

Sunday:

Amphibians of Hopkins Forest - 10:00 am.

Join student naturalist SJ Brusini and others for a look into the secret lives of amphibians this Sunday at 10:00 am.  This 90-minute program will provide a chance to explore some wetlands and woods and to take a closer look at some of the dozen species that reside in these habitats -- including spring peepers, wood frogs, green frogs, red-backed salamanders, spotted salamanders and eastern newts. 

There will be van rides available from Paresky (Park Street). at 9:45 and 10:00. If you intend to come on your own, please meet at the Rosenburg Center, 271 Northwest Hill Road at 10:00.  Waterproof footwear and rain gear are recommended; amphibians thrive in wet conditions.
