Thursday:

Climbing Wall open!  Non cis-male climbing from 8 - 9 pm!  From 9 - 10 there will be open climbing at the Nate Lowe Climbing Wall. No experience necessary.  All equipment provided.  

 

Friday:

Darkest weekly sunrise hike of the academic year!!!– a “wake up” and down trek on Pine Cobble.** Meet on Paresky steps at 6:00 AM for a dawn good sunrise hike - (sunrise at 7:31 AM). This is a 3 mile hike round trip, one thousand foot elevation gain to get your blood flowing and endorphins coursing through your veins!! Dress for the weather -  and wear good footwear for a trail that will be muddy, wet and always rocky! Winter hats/gloves needed for warmth at the summit. Bring a headlamp/flashlight (it’s a REAL sunrise hike, dark in the woods for sure!!), a filled water bottle and a cup for hot drinks. Return to campus by 8:45AM. Saturday:

THE Cascades Trail!! 

Come hike with us! Or stroll? Or wade? You’ll only find out what happens in the Cascades if you go on this fantabulous trip led by the two and only Sam ([log in to unmask]) and Abby ([log in to unmask]). We’ll drive down to North Adams, go for a lil walk (~2.2 miles), and see some waterfalls. Hopefully not fall in the waterfalls! We’ll leave from Paresky steps at 1:30pm and be back by 3:30pm. WOC Din! Come enjoy a delicious dinner with great company at 6:30 pm in Dodd! We will be serving cheesy pasta, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts as well as a delicious dessert. Sunday:

(almost) Full Moon Hike  Join us for an easy evening hike around the trails at Field Farm.  We’ll leave from the Park St. side of Pareky at 7 pm and be back by 9.  Wear sturdy closed toe shoes, bring extra warm clothing and a water bottle,  and enjoy a couple hours off campus.  Headlamps will be provided.  Sign up here and email da1 with any questions

Are you interested in leading a WOC trip? Well, now you can! Join us on Monday, Nov. 7 at 8:30 PM in the '66 Environmental Center to meet other leaders and ask questions. Snacks will be provided! Please also join the GroupMe so you can receive important information about the process (even if you can’t make it to the meeting)
