Trip Leader Program!
Do you want to lead your own WOC trip? We are launching a new trip leader program, so now you can! Check this out for more info, and join the GroupMe to receive updates! REMINDER: Sign up for the Winter study LEAD 18 - SOLO First Responder Wilderness Emergency care course. This is a continuous 9 day, 72 hour comprehensive hands on in-depth look at the standards and skills of dealing with wilderness based medical emergencies. The course runs 9 consecutive days straight from 9AM–5PM. The instructor will be provided by SOLO (Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunities). Cost is $450. If interested please submit a statement of purpose to [log in to unmask], explaining why you want to take the course and hope to gain from the experience after registering for the course.

Are you interested in leading a WOC trip? Well, now you can! Join us on Monday, Nov. 7 at 8:30 PM in the '66 Environmental Center to meet other leaders and ask questions. Snacks will be provided! Climbing Wall open! There will be open climbing from 8 - 10 pm at the Nate Lowe Climbing Wall in the Towne Field House. No experience necessary. All equipment provided.

Wednesday:

Thursday:
Climbing Wall open! Non cis-male climbing from 8 - 9 pm! From 9 - 10 there will be open climbing at the Nate Lowe Climbing Wall. No experience necessary. All equipment provided.
Friday:
Weekly sunrise hike– a “wake up” and down trek on Pine Cobble.** Meet on Paresky steps at 6:00 AM for a dawn good sunrise hike - (sunrise at 6:39 AM). This is a 3 mile hike round trip, one thousand foot elevation gain to get your blood flowing and endorphins coursing through your veins!! Dress for the weather i.e. raincoat- and wear good footwear for a trail that will be muddy, wet and always rocky! Winter hats/gloves needed for warmth at the summit. Bring a headlamp/flashlight (it’s a REAL sunrise hike, dark in the woods for sure!!), a filled water bottle and a cup for hot drinks. Return to campus by 8:30AM.
