The WOC Equipment Room will be open by APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Hours are M – Th, 12—1:30 PM, &  F 12–2 pm. The Equipment Room is open to all WOC members. Please go to this appointment schedule to sign up.  

We want your feedback on trips! Have you recently gone on a trip and want to give us feedback on COVID-19 precautions and how things went? Fill out our feedback form after your trip so we know how we’re doing!

Activities

Monday:

Climbing Wall open!  There will be open climbing from 8 - 10 pm at the Nate Lowe Climbing Wall in the Towne Field House.  No experience necessary.  All equipment provided.  This is for WOC members only and memberships are available at the wall.  

Tuesday:

Wednesday:

Pre-Spring Break Tie-Dye!  If you want a sweet outfit for break, come to Resky at 2:00pm to tie-dye. We’ll provide the dye but bring your own shirt, socks, sheets etc… (it doesn’t have to start with an s, but it should be white and it works best if it is cotton). No experience necessary, email Malcolm ([log in to unmask]) with any questions and sign up here! 

Non cis-male climbing from 8 - 9 pm!  From 9 - 10 all WOC members are welcome and memberships are available at the wall.  No experience necessary.  All equipment provided.   

Thursday:

Campfire at the End of the Rainbow!! Join us at the campfire by the tennis courts Thursday at 7:00PM for a St. Patrick’s day campfire! While not a well-known fact, Leprechauns are actually attracted to fire (think mosquitos), so if you’re looking for some gold this is the place to be. Be sure to wear green!!! Friday:

Weekly sunrise hike– a “wake up” and down trek on Pine Cobble. Meet on Paresky steps at 6:00 AM to witness a REAL sunrise at 6:59AM. This is a 3 mile hike round trip, one thousand foot elevation gain to get your blood flowing and endorphins coursing through your veins!! Dress for the weather -  winter hat/gloves needed for warmth at the summit, good footwear for a trail that will be very muddy, wet and always rocky!  Bring a filled water bottle and a cup for hot drinks.  Return to campus by 8:30AM. Afternoon Kite-Hill Hike! 🪁 Enjoy the beautiful afternoon-evening weather and decompress after this long week with a leisurely hike from Stone Hill to the Kite Hill Trail. Expect temperatures in the mid- to low-60’s and fun-levels in the mid-to-high 100’s. (We might fly kites too!!) Sign up here. Meet in front of Paresky at 4:00 PM, and return around 6:00 PM. Bring a light layer or two, but the weather should be very nice. If you need any gear, or have any questions at all, email Sam ([log in to unmask]).
