WOC-ly OUTING CLUB CALENDAR 1/27 - 2/2

Hello WOC family!  Come check out some of the awesome outdoors events we
have going on this week.   All events are open to WOC members. For more
information on how to join WOC, ask your trip leader or head on down to the
equipment room.

WORK WITH KIDS AS A WILLIAMSTOWN RURAL LANDS OR HOPKINS FOREST EDUCATOR:  Get
paid to teach, mentor, and play with kids outdoors! CLIA is hiring Hopkins

The Nate Lowe Climbing Wall:  Come get sendy with us!  The wall is open M &
W 8 -10, T 9 -11.  The wall is closed Th. Come enjoy Winter Study by trying
out a new boulder problem or toprope.



WOC Equipment Room:   The Equipment Room will be open M - F from 12 -2 pm.

WOC activities:

Monday:

Stroll to Stone Hill! Come for a nice mid-evening stroll to the beautiful
Stone Hill, help us find some cows to MOOO with, and drink hot chocolate on
a beautiful winter day. Meet in Baxter at 7 pm and bring a cup/mug for hot
chocolate. Contact Sam (sch4) or Alex (arp2) with questions.



Tuesday:

Midweek Walk! Join us for a jaunt down to the Hoosic River trails by Cole
Field. Be prepared for possible muddy conditions. Meet in front of the WOC
Office at 2 pm. Email Charlotte (cgj1) with questions!



Wednesday:

Kayak Polo! Join us from 7:30-8:30pm on Wednesday night in the pool for
some games in kayaks. Absolutely no experience necessary with kayaking or
polo or kayak polo. Reach out to Jackson at jse2 with any questions - can
promise it’ll be low-key fun and lots of laughs.



Thursday:

On-campus Animal Tracking Ever wondered how to tell what all the campus
squirrels are up to? We'll be exploring campus learning the difference
between squirrels, rabbits, cats, dogs, and deer. Meet at 2 pm at the
Paresky steps. Contact Rosa at rlk2 with any questions!



Friday:

Weekly sunrise hike wake up and down Pine Cobble (witness sunrise at
7:22am) Meet on Paresky steps at 6:00 AM.  Dress for the chill and snowy
trail,  bring extra layers, headlamp, filled water bottle and a cup for hot
drinks.  Return to campus by 8:30AM. Contact Seamus, [log in to unmask] TO
