WOC-ly OUTING CLUB CALENDAR 10/14- 10/20

Hello WOC family!  Come check out some of the awesome outdoors events we have going on this week.   All events are open to WOC members. For more information on how to join WOC, ask your trip leader or head on down to the equipment room.

Announcements:

The Equipment Room and the Climbing Wall will be closed on Monday, 10/14, due to Reading Period.

The Nate Lowe climbing wall:  Tuesday - Thursday from 8pm - 10pm (thursdays from 8-9pm reserved for people who don’t identify as cis-gender male.  All climbers are welcome from 9-10)

WOC Equipment Room:   The Equipment Room will be open T - Th 12:30 - 1:30 pm & *F 12 - 2 pm Email: [log in to unmask]

WOC activities:

Monday:

Money Brook Falls! Come for a short hike to money brook falls (~3 miles).  This is one of the gems of Williamstown, and now is a perfect time to come explore this waterfall!  Meeting at Paresky steps at noon. Email Danny at [log in to unmask] with any questions

Tuesday:

Cascade Falls Hike

Take advantage of the fall foliage on a beautiful and scenic hike about 3 miles and relatively flat! We will leave from Paresky steps at 10 AM and return around 1 PM. Questions email Georgia at [log in to unmask]!

Bouncy Ball Making Workshop

Do you love bouncy balls? Have you ever wondered how to make bouncy balls? Are you bored over reading period and want to do something? Come make bouncy balls either outside of Paresky or in Baxter (weather dependent) at 11 AM. Questions email Sam at [log in to unmask]

Friday:

Every friday is Mountain Day if you come join the weekly Sunrise hike to the summit of Pine Cobble (witness sunrise at 7:09am) Meet on Paresky steps at 6:00 AM.  Dress for the weather,  Bring a headlamp, filled water bottle and a cup for hot drinks.  Return to campus by 8:30AM.
