WOC-ly OUTING CLUB CALENDAR 10/11 - 10/14

Hello WOC family!  Come check out some of the awesome outdoors events we have going on this week.   All events are open to WOC members. For more information on how to join WOC, ask your trip leader or head on down to the equipment room.

Announcements:

Mt. Day  T shirts for sale:  WOC still has a few Mt. Day shirts for sale.  Sm, Md, & Lg shirts are available in Dark Green and there are some Light Green shirts in L. We'll be tabling in Paresky Friday, from 11:30-1pm OR come down to the equipment room during open hours!  Bring $10 in cash or check and take home a souvenir of the finest day of F18.

The Nate Lowe Climbing Wall remains closed:  Due to renovation work in the Field House there will be no indoor climbing until future notice.  However, outdoor climbing trips are planned on 10/13, 20, and 27. Keep an eye on the outing news and updates for details

WOC Equipment Room:  The Equipment Room is open M-Th 12:30-1:30, & F 12-2.  We have tons of gear to borrow! WOC memberships may be purchased as may Mt. Day or Bamboo T-shirts. Email [log in to unmask]

WOC activities:

Friday:

Sunrise Hike (sunrise at 7:03 am) - relive the GLORY of Mt. Day, and start your day with a saunter in the woods…. Meet on Paresky steps at 6:00 AM.  Dress for the weather, trail will be slick, muddy and wet!  Bring a water bottle, headlamp/flashight and a cup for hot drinks.  Return to campus by 8:30AM. Saturday:

Outdoor climbing trip:  Location to be determined by experience and enthusiasm level.  Possible destinations include Farley Ledge, Rose Ledge, or Chapel Ledge.  Meet at the WOC Equipment Room at 9 am and return by 5 pm. Email ads4 with questions, to sign up, or to add your input on a destination.
