*WOC-ly OUTING CLUB CALENDAR 04/12- 04/15Announcements:  Wilderness First
Aid course - WOC will be offering a 2 day WFA course which can be used to
renew your WFR certification if needed.  Saturday, April 21 and Sunday
April 29 from 9AM - 3:30PM. Cost is $55 for WFA or $70 if renewing a
current WFR - please contact [log in to unmask] <[log in to unmask]> to
reserve a spot and if you have any questions,  by Friday, April
13 Climbing: The Nate Lowe climbing wall will be open 8 -10 pm M - Th.  The
wall WILL be open Thursday night 4/12!!  Earlier  reasons for closure have
changed.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  8-9 pm on Thursdays are
reserved for people who do not identify as cis-gender males 9-10 pm on
Thursdays and every other night is open and welcome to all.WOC Equipment
Room:  The Equipment Room will be open M - Th 12:30 -1:30, and F 12 -2.
  WOC memberships may be purchased at the Equipment Room as may the ever

by the pool between 7:30pm and 9:00 and learn how to roll a kayak (back up

Swim:Come one come all to the green river for a quick swim! Meet at the
WCMA steps at 8:30 if interested. Bring a towel.  Contact Kerry at kas6 if
you have any questions!Friday:Sunrise (6:13 am sunrise)  3 mi Hike up and
down Pine Cobble  Meet on Paresky steps at 6:00 AM.  Dress for the weather

Chalk Art, and other playground games! Starting on Paresky lawn around
4:15PM on what is predicted to be the warmest afternoon of the week.

Hopkins Forest-- 10:00-noon. Join Naturalist Tom Tyning in an outing to
discover some of the dozen species of frogs, newts and salamanders that
live in our Berkshire woods and wetlands. We will identify these critters
and gain insights into their fascinating life-histories and behavior.
Program starts at the Rosenburg Center; van leaves from Paresky (Park
Street).  Dress for cool, wet conditions. Coffee available. Questions??

<[log in to unmask]>Sunday:Whitewater Kayaking! Deerfield Day! Join
Jackson and Alex for a day on the Deerfield. Open to anyone who has taken
the WOC whitewater kayak P.E. class, or who has prior whitewater kayaking
experience. This is a great chance to spend a day paddling the entire Fife
Brook section class II of the Deerfield, and perhaps, take on the mighty
Zoar Gap, class III! We will leave at 11:30am and return by 4:00pm. Contact
