*Mountain Day Injury Van: Do you have an injury or disability that would prevent you from hiking up Stony Ledge on Mountain Day? There will be limited space on a van to transport anyone who is physically unable due to injury or disability to hike to the top to enjoy the doughnuts and a cappella performances. Email Caroline (ccw1) with questions or to reserve a spot.
*Wilderness First Responder course - Winter Study LEAD 18: The Williams Outing Club will once again be offering a fully accredited Emergency Medical Response course under the course catalog heading of LEAD 18. First year students are eligible to take this class. The course begins Jan. 4 and ends Jan. 12 - classes will meet from 9am - 4:30pm this includes the weekend and 2 night time rescue scenarios. Students MUST be able to attend every class . After successful completion of the course, you will be given a Wilderness First Responder certificate, valid for 3 years and CPR certification valid for 2 years AND Winter Study credit! THURSDAY:
- Slacklining: Come to the trees between Morgan and Rt. 2 Thursday between 2:30 and 3:30 to learn to slackline with Raja, Annabel, and Galen! No experience necessary, all are welcome!
- Sunset Hike: Join Nick Brownrigg for a trek up Pine Cobble to celebrate (potentially) Mountain Day eve. Meet Paresky steps at 5pm. Bring a headlamp (flashlight), filled water bottle and good hiking shoes!
-“Ladies” Night at the Nate Lowe climbing wall (8-9 no cis men, all others welcome. 9-10 all welcome) Towne Field House 8-10pm- Polar Bear Swim Club: Want to join the coolest club on campus? Meet at Paresky steps at 9pm for a swim in the Green River. Contact Glen (gg5) with questions.
