OUTING CLUB EVENTS 11/4 - 11/10

ANNOUNCEMENTS

-Equipment Room hours are Mon-Th: 12:30pm-1:30PM, Fri. 12-2PM. Contact Craig at cmb2 for more information.  

-NEEDED: WOC Winter PE Ski (alpine, telemark, nordic), Snowboard, Snowshoe instructors.  If you have expertise and past teaching experience AND would like to share that with others - please come by the WOC office - 2nd floor Paresky to pick up an application to teach!

MONDAY

-Open Climbing at the Nate Lowe Climbing Wall in the Field House 8-10 pm


TUESDAY

-Learn to roll a kayak! in the pool 7-9pm. and bring a towel and swim suit--absolutely no experience necessary. Contact Sarah (sma2) for more info.

-Nate Lowe remembrance - 7:45PM at the Nate Lowe Climbing Wall in the Field House - there will be a candle lighting and reading to honor the legacy of Nate Lowe ‘95 designer of the climbing wall.

-Open Climbing at the Nate Lowe Climbing Wall in the Field House 8-10 pm

-Polar Bear Swim: join us for a refreshing dip in the Green River.  Meet on Paresky steps at 9 PM.  Bring warm clothes, a flashlight, and a towel. Email Scott at stw1 or Miles at mdh1 with questions.

-Weekly WOC meeting 7PM in Schapiro Hall 141, all members are welcome! Contact Jackson jws2 or Lucie lmc1 to learn more

FRIDAY

-Sunrise Hike up Pine Cobble. Meet on Chapin Steps at 6:00 AM.  Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle, a headlamp, and a cup for hot drinks. Email slewis for more info!


SATURDAY

-Caving trip to Clarksville, NY: Leaving campus at 9 AM returning by 7PM - Limited spots, so email Dave at da1 for more info or to sign up!  Sign-up deadline Thursday at noon.  Must enjoy cold, wet, dark, small places.
