OUTING CLUB EVENTS 1/14 - 1/21 ANNOUNCEMENTS -Winter Fun in the Adirondack Mountains: Join us during Dead Week for four days of winter activities in New York State’s beautiful Adirondack mountains from January 26-29. We will be staying at the cozy ADK Trail Crew Lodge. Only 12 places available, contact Sonja at smt1 to reserve a spot…they will go fast! There will be a fee of ~$80 per person for this trip. - Lonesome Lake Snowshoeing Trip: Come snowshoe in the western White Mountains of New Hampshire during Dead Week. This is a three day, two night trip from Sunday to Tuesday including (hopefully) summiting Cannon Mountain. Cost for the trip is ~$70. Contact stw1 to reserve a spot before the trip fills up! -The Equipment Room is open 12 - 2 PM on Monday-Friday and 10-12 AM on Saturday. Visit us in Paresky basement to check out gear with your WOC membership card. If you are not yet a member, you can purchase a membership ($10 for students) in the Equipment Room. Due to PE classes and increased general demand all Winter Toys are due the following business day on M-Th & Sa. SATURDAY -Van ride to Prospect Nordic Center: Meet at the WOC Equipment Room at 10am for some sweet cross-country skiing in Vermont! Returning by 2pm, passes cost $10 with cash or $12 with plastic. Email Gordon at gsb1 to reserve a spot. SUNDAY -GREYLOCK ADVENTURE! Snowshoe up Mt. Greylock and get some sledding in too, weather dependent. We’ll leave at 9am and be back by mid afternoon.
