OUTING CLUB EVENTS 11/08 - 11/14

ANNOUNCEMENTS

-Want to learn how to lead climb? Email es2 if you are belay certified and want to take part in the first of two lead-climbing workshops at the Nate Lowe wall this Sunday.

-The equipment room is open for regular hours. Visit us in Paresky basement to check out gear with your WOC membership card. Open 12:30-1:30PM from Monday-Thursday and 12-2PM and 4:30-5:30 on Fridays.

MONDAY

-Open climbing at the Nate Lowe wall in the Field House! 8-10 PM.

TUESDAY

-Polar Bear Swim; join us for a refreshing dip in the Green River.  Meet on Paresky steps at 9 PM, and don’t forget to bring warm clothes, a flashlight, and a towel. Email Abby at atm1 with questions. 

-Kayak rolling! Come learn to roll a kayak in the college pool, no experience necessary! 7PM - 8:30PM. Email mgb1 if you’re interested.

-Open climbing at the Nate Lowe wall!  8-10 PM in the Field House.

WEDNESDAY

- Weekly WOC dinner: Come to Paresky at 6PM to eat dinner and hang out with other outdoor enthusiasts. Bring your food (and good stories!) up to the fireplace on the second floor. 

- Weekly WOC meeting; 7PM in Schapiro Hall 141, all members are welcome!  Contact Mike at mbg1 to learn more.

FRIDAY

-Sunrise Hike up Pine Cobble!  Meet at Chapin Steps at 6AM, we will return to campus by 8:45AM.

-Ski and Skate Sale at Pine Cobble School on Gale Road in Williamstown! Stop by from 3PM - 8PM to buy skis, snowboards, snowshoes, clothing, and more!

SATURDAY

-Day Hike; Meet at 10AM on Paresky steps. Be sure to bring layers and a water bottle! Email ggm1 for more information.

-Ski and Skate Sale at Pine Cobble School on Gale Road in Williamstown. Stop by from 10AM - 2PM to buy skis, snowboards, snowshoes, clothing and more!
