ANNOUNCEMENTS

-Mountain Day T-shirts are in! Congratulations to Izzie Griffin-Smith for winning the design contest. Shirts will be sold for 10$ all week in Paresky from 12-1:30PM.

-Can't decide what to do this Mountain Day?  Why not DO IT ALL in the legendary Mountain Day Extreme Adventure Race!  Just get together a savvy bike-equipped co-ed team of 4 and register to drw1 by noon Sept 29th.  Teams will bike, swim, puzzle, scavenge, and run their way to the top of Stony Ledge in time for the festivities and traditional admiration.  Costumes and chutzpah are required. 

-The equipment room is open! Visit us in Paresky basement to check out gear with your WOC membership card. Open 12:30-1:30PM on Tuesdays-Thursdays as well as 12-2PM and 4:30-5:30PM on Fridays.

MONDAY

- Open climbing at the Nate Lowe wall in the Field House! 8-10 PM.

- Monday Movie night; come to the Bronfman auditorium at 9:30PM to watch surfing movie “Riding Giants” on the big screen. Click here for a preview:

TUESDAY

 - Polar Bear Swim; join us for a refreshing dip in the Green River.  Meet on 

Paresky steps at 9 PM, and don’t forget to bring warm clothes, a flashlight, and a towel. Email Abby at atm1 with questions.  

- Stone Hill campout; meet in Paresky Lobby at 10PM to spend a night beneath stars on Stone Hill. Snacks and music are included! We’ll be back in time for classes Wednesday morning. Email Dan at drw1if you have any questions.

- Open climbing at the Nate Lowe wall in the Field House! 8-10 PM.

WEDNESDAY

- Weekly WOC dinner: Come to Paresky at 6PM to eat dinner and hang out with other outdoor enthusiasts. Bring your food (and good stories!) up to the fireplace on the second floor. 

- Weekly WOC meeting; 7PM in Schapiro Hall 141, all members are welcome!  Contact Mike at mbg1 to learn more.

THURSDAY

- Open climbing at the Nate Lowe wall in the Field House! 8-10 PM.

FRIDAY

- Could be Mountain Day!!! If so, all other events are canceled.

- Sunrise Hike up Pine Cobble!  Meet at Chapin Steps at 6AM, we will return to campus by 8:45AM.

- Outdoor Outreach Hike 3:15-5:30 PM.  Get outside and have fun with kids from the Williamstown Youth Center!  Contact Chandler at ces1 for more information.

SATURDAY

- Day hike up Berlin Mountain! Meet at 10:00AM in front of Paresky.

- Bike ride to Five Corners! It won’t be too strenuous, we can stop to collect leaves, take pictures, and get a snack at Five Corners. Meet at Chapin at 12:30PM, bike and helmet required. Email etl1 for more information.

SUNDAY

- Open climbing at the Nate Lowe wall!  Hours are 3-5 PM in the Field House.
