The Williams Outing Club will once again be offering a fully  
accredited emergency medical response course under the course catalog  
heading of LEAD 18.

WOC has contracted with SOLO,  Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunities  
(http://www.soloschools.com/ ) to provide an instructor to come to the  
Williams campus during the upcoming J-Term, 2010.

The course begins Jan. 4 and ends Jan. 12 - classes will meet from 9am  
- 4:30pm this includes the weekend and 2 night time rescue scenarios.

After successful completion of the course, you will be given a  
Wilderness First Responder certificate, valid for 3 years and CPR  
certification valid for 2 years.

This is the gold standard of outdoor adventure travel medical care for  
camps and guide work.  You will also receive from the Williams College  
Athletic Dept. 1 PE credit and credit for Winter Study.

The cost of this course for Williams College students is $450.00
