Wilderness Ventures is an outdoor travel program for student ages 12-20 years old.  2013 will mark our 41st summer in operation and are still owned by Mike and Helen Cottingham.

We operate in:
United States, Asia ,Caribbean, South America, Central America, Europe, South Pacific, Africa, Canada

Activities include:
Backpacking, Whitewater rafting, Rock climbing,	Language programs, Ice climbing,	,Canoeing, Sea kayaking, Mountain biking	Service projects, Sailing, Snorkeling, Surfing,SCUBA diving, Bike touring, Mountaineering

Positions Include:
Wilderness Trip Leader
International Trip Leader
Community Service Trip Leader
Language Programs Trip Leader
Sea Kayak Specialist
Mtn. Biking Trip Leader
Fly Fishing Trip Leader	
Bike Touring Trip Leader

Leaders are responsible for group facilitation, fostering a sense of community, teaching participants the inherent value of the outdoors across all lands and cultures.  

Leaders must be 20 years of age, possess solid outdoor, language and/or travel skills, have proven successful leadership experience and most importantly, a desire to work with youth in amazing outdoor settings!
