Hello all,

Thursday and Friday are very busy days in WOClandia.

1) On Thursday 11/15 from 3-6 pm Jiminy Peak ski passes will be on sale in Paresky room 112.  There will be great deals on Faculty and staff passes and the College Student anytime pass, valid at Jiminy Peak, Bromley Mountain, or Cranmore Mountain Resort any operating day, will cost just $299.  Please note that Jiminy Peak passes valid only during Winter Study will not be on sale at this time.  There will be a Winter Study PE sign-up on 1/3 where you will be able to purchase those passes and enroll in fantastic WOC PE classes.  Think Snow!

2) Thursday night brings 2 Kayak related events to campus.  From 6:15 to 7:30 Zak Podmore and Will Stauffer-Norris will be visiting instructors along with Williams own Victor Major and Gabe Lewis for a kayak rolling session in the pool.  At 8:00 Will and Zak will be showing a film and discussing their project "Kayaking the Colorado: Exploring an Endangered River".  This presentation will report on their expedition down the Colorado River from the source to the sea and the associated environmental issues.  On Friday, Will and Zak will be the featured environmental activist-adventurers at Log Lunch.

3) Friday night brings the 2nd Blacklight Climbing Party to the Nate Lowe Climbing Wall in the Field House.  Cosponsored by WOC and WAD, this event was a highlight of last year's calendar and is looking to be a bigger event this year.  With expanded hours from 8-12, you don't want to miss this vertical dance party.  Rock on!
