Join WOC in celebrating the end of the semester with an epic sunrise
hike to the top of Mt. Greylock! We'll be leaving this Sunday morning
at 1:45am from the loading dock behind Paresky, and hiking in the dark
up the Thunderbolt ski trail to the summit in time to see the sun rise
around 5:30am (right now the weather looks pretty good, so keep your
fingers crossed). We should be back on campus by 8:30am.

You'll want to bring a headlamp if you have one, and a backpack with
at least a liter of water and enough clothes to keep you warm on the
potentially very cold summit. Just a word of warning: this will be a
vigorous hike, and the Thunderbolt Trail is quite steep, so this is
not something you want to do on a whim, or to cap off a night of
partying. If you're not rested and sober, you'll be miserable. But as
long as you're prepared, this should be a beautiful hike and a great
experience. If you're interested in coming along, please reply to this
message so that we can get some idea of the numbers (also let me know
if you have your own headlamp). And if you have any questions, don't
