OUTING CLUB EVENTS 1/2 - 1/6

ANNOUNCEMENTS
-The Equipment Room is open 12 - 2 PM on Monday-Friday and 10-12 AM on Saturday. Visit us in Paresky basement to check out gear with your WOC membership card.  If you are not yet a member, you can purchase a membership ($10 for students) in the Equipment Room. Due to PE classes and demand all Winter Toys are due the following business day on M-Th & Sa.
-WOC and Mountain Day T-shirts are also available in the Equipment Room.

THURSDAY
-WOC Winter Study PE Sign-Up: Sign up for WOC Winter Study PE classes from 6-8:30 in Lasell Gym.  Alpine, Telemark, & Nordic skiing, Snowboarding and Snowshoeing will be offered. Must be a current WOC member. Bring your membership card.  A $20 program fee will be charged for all classes held at Jiminy Peak. This fee will also be charged in addition to the fee for Jiminy Peak passes.  Checks or cash only for WOC; Jiminy accepts credit cards as well.
-Suburban Sports will be at the sign-up in Lasell selling skis, snowboards, snowshoes, hats, gloves, and all sorts of other apparel and equipment at below-retail prices.  Gear up for outdoor fun!  Cash or credit cards.

FRIDAY
-Sunrise Hike up Pine Cobble!  Meet at Chapin Steps at 6AM. We will return to campus by 8:45AM. Make sure to bring your own cup for hot cocoa and/or tea!

SATURDAY
-Van ride to Prospect Nordic Center: Meet at the WOC Equipment Room at 10am for a ride 30 minutes north in the WOC van for some sweet cross-country skiing in Vermont! Returning around 2pm, passes cost $10 with cash, $12 with plastic. Email Gordon at gsb1 to reserve a seat in the van.
