10:00-Noon Amphibian Foray

Tom Tyning, Professor of Environmental Science at Berkshire Community College, will lead a foray in Hopkins Forest to look for frogs, toads and salamanders.  We will explore a variety of habitats -- forest, ponds and streams -- to find and learn about the identification, life history and behavior of some of the 12 species that regularly inhabit Hopkins Forest. 

-Sunset Hike up Pine Cobble!  Meet on Paresky Steps at 6:15PM, bring layers, water, and a headlamp if you have one, and we’ll return to campus by 9:00PM.  Contact Grace at ggm1 with questions!
